Track 1
101 - ACL Treatment and Prevention Today
Terry Malone PT, Ed.D., ATC, FAPTA
This session will focus on the multiplicity of problems confronting clinicians when best caring for patients following Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury as well as our role in prevention of the same. Patients with these pathologies demand an "attention to detail" which is frequently not provided. This session will attempt to "contextualize" the historical development of the majority of commonplace procedures utilized in the clinic today through historical presentation, as well as develop an appreciation of the relevant literature of yesterday and today, including the approaches used in management and prevention.
