301 - Top 10 Clinical Indicators for Effective Screening and Case Load Management
Shelly Mesure MS, OTR/L
The Top 10 Clinical Indicators for Effective Screening outlines the most common issues encountered by our long-term population. This session will allow you to examine and explore often overlooked clinical indicators through an interdisciplinary approach. Caseload fluctuations are an issue every SNF rehab department encounters, but there are many resources available at our fingertips to explore and examine. Rehab's role is a vital part of the interdisciplinary care provided to our long-term residents, and maintaining a standard for clinical excellence is always a challenge. This session will provide "inthe-box" and "out-of-the-box" examples to enhance the quality of care we deliver while organizing strategies to manage the busiest or lowest of caseloads. You will learn strategies to better enhance the quality of care while continuing to develop current caseloads within your department.
