303 - Role of Resistive Exercise for Diabetic Patients

This session focuses on the physiological results of resistive exercise on the disease of diabetes. It will take the clinician to a new level of understanding as to the effects of muscle contraction on the disease. Going beyond a walking program will be the goal of all your patients. This session is a must-attend for all clinicians who treat patients with Type II Diabetes regardless of their referring diagnosis. As rehab and movement specialists, we have a duty to understand this epidemic and how we can contribute to the solution. Get a complete understanding of the mechanism of muscle contraction and its role in blood glucose control.
