106 - Shoulder Rehabilitation Involving Labral Repair and Instability

There are multiple surgical procedures for repair of shoulder labral tears and shoulder instability. This complexity can often lead to confusion regarding specific rehabilitation parameters. This session will discuss various shoulder rehabilitation strategies, considerations and salient points as they relate to shoulder labral repair and instability. General discussion of types of surgical repair will be presented, specifically as they relate to post-surgical rehabilitation considerations. Advantages and disadvantages of various types of exercises will be discussed specific to shoulder rehabilitation for the labral repair and instability client.
