108 - Hip Arthroscopy: Current Concepts

This session will review the indications, outcomes, rehabilitation and complications of modern hip arthroscopy. We will review the clinical factors that influence the decision making of managing hip arthroscopy patients, and focus on surgical management and rehabilitation. This session will review the latest developments regarding surgical options for the management of labral pathology, femoral acetabular impingement (FAI), chondral injuries and other musculoskeletal pathology about the hip joint. The key aspects of rehabilitating patients post-operatively from treating these conditions will be reviewed. We will cover some concepts of treating these conditions preventively in an attempt to avoid surgical intervention.
