Speaker's Bio Testimonials

Although the most prominent, well-known and thoroughly understood of the personality disorders, individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder remain one of the most difficult types of clients for most human service professionals. Often experienced as exasperating and "impossible," patients with BPD often confuse, frighten and frustrate clinicians. It does not need to be this way. Although largely unfamiliar to all but a few "specialists" in the area, there are new, innovative and empirically validated methods with proven effectiveness for managing and treating the behavior of this often bewildering client population.

By drawing on a wide range of the most current experience, research and literature, you will receive the most comprehensive information available in a one-day seminar. Practical and powerful methods for effectively managing and treating clients with BPD will be presented.

Continuing Education hours for this self study are available for Counselors, Social Workers, Nurses and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors. Cross Country Education is an approved provider by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), the Association of Social Work Licensure Boards (ASWB), the Tennessee Nurses Association and NAADAC -- this program is offered for 6 clock (contact) hours of continuing education credit. Cross Country Education is also an approved provider by the Iowa Board of Nursing, the Florida Board of Nursing and the California Board of Registered Nursing and this program is offered for 7.2 contact hours.
