School Psychologist Jeannette P.
At Cross Country Education, we’re proud to work with caring, enthusiastic educational professionals from across the nation who love helping kids succeed. This week, we’re celebrating school psychologist Jeannette P. We asked Jeannette what motivated her to become a school psychologist, what she enjoys about working with Cross Country Education, and what advice she would share with others who are interested in her field. Here’s what she had to say:
Why did you become a school psychologist?
I enjoy working with our youth. It brings me joy to help students and their families. I know that my role has a big impact on the lives of children and their families, and I do my best to support them according to their needs.
What do you like about working as a school psychologist with Cross Country Education?
I like the flexibility of making my schedule and the support that I receive from my leads and the office. The flexibility allows me to balance my work schedule with my family, which is really important to me. If at any time I need support, I know that I can depend on the office and my lead to support me.
What have you liked about your experience working as a psychologist at CCE schools?
I like CCE schools because they are typically pleasant and professional. Although I go to many different schools, I always feel welcome at all of them.
What kind of advice would you give to someone starting out in your field as a school psychologist?
I would recommend this career to anyone. I make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families, and that is priceless.
Thank you, Jeannette, for your dedication to the students, families, and schools you serve – and for sharing your experience and insight to inspire others who might be interested in becoming a school psychologist!
