Job Description

Cross Country Education (formerly DirectEd) is seeking LVN's for flexible, per diem assignments as well as long-term assignments in the following areas of Los Angeles:

  • West LA: Santa Monica, Culver City, Hollywood
  • South LA: Lakewood, Inglewood, Compton, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Current California LVN license
  • Current certification in CPR or BLS card
  • Available to work at least 8 school days per month
  • At least 6 months of pediatric or school-based experience
Who You Are:

An LVN that provides basic patient care or treatments, such as administering prescribed medication, taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds or performing catheterization and managing diabetes/seizure disorders within a school setting. You can communicate the health and developmental status of students to school personnel and parents and provide input as necessary. Under the supervision of an RN, you support in the implementation of school health plans and submit reports in a timely manner to coincide with IEP review meetings. You are someone who is comfortable and adaptable to working with diverse student populations and schools.
